Charles L. Peek is a distinguished community leader, nonprofit executive, and advocate for vulnerable populations with 35 years of experience in program development, operations management, and community-based services. His work focuses on combating elder abuse, addressing homelessness, and empowering underrepresented communities through education, housing, and policy engagement.
Mr. Peek studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Political Science Pre-Law at Norfolk State University and Human Resource Management at Western Governors University. He has also earned specialized training in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention, Case Management, Clinical Training at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Family Counseling, Crisis Intervention, Treatment Planning, and Report/Recordkeeping.
His community involvement includes service with the Norfolk Community Services Board, Sickle Cell Association Inc., Local Human Rights Committee, and Clever Communities In Action.
